The PetMaison Box is delivered almost fully assembled and ready to use. Installation is simple and quick — just follow the steps below.

Step 1
Place the PetMaison Box where the previous litter box was located to help your cat adapt more easily.

Step 2
Make sure the device is placed on a firm, flat, and stable surface. Use indoors only, away from soft or uneven floors and direct sunlight.

Step 3
Position the PetMaison Box near a power outlet, leaving space around it. Avoid placing it against a wall or in a corner.

Step 4
Attach the litter scatter guard to the front of the unit. This element helps keep the floor clean after each use.

Step 5
Fill the globe with clean litter up to the indicated maximum line. For optimal performance, we recommend using high-quality clumping litter.

Step 6
Plug the PetMaison Box into a power outlet. The globe will automatically align — your PetMaison Box is ready to use.

Is the PetMaison Box safe for my cat?

Yes. The PetMaison Box features weight sensors and an anti-jam system that immediately stops the cleaning cycle if your cat approaches or enters the box. Safety is continuous and automatic.

Is it suitable for kittens?

For safety, automatic mode should not be used by cats under 1 kg. Above this weight, the sensors detect and protect your cat as usual.

How many cats can use the same PetMaison Box?

Up to three cats, ensuring optimal hygiene and comfort. For more than that, we recommend a second unit.

Is the PetMaison Box suitable for apartments?

The design is compact, elegant and quiet, made to blend seamlessly into any indoor space — measures 48.5 × 53 × 50.5 cm.

Will my cat adapt easily?

Most cats adjust naturally to the PetMaison Box within a few days. Follow these four steps to make the transition easier.

Place the PetMaison Box next to the current litter box

For the first few days, keep both litter boxes available so your cat can explore the new box at their own pace.

Leave both litter boxes out for a few days

Don’t remove the old litter box right away. Giving your cat time to choose where they feel most comfortable speeds up adaptation.

Every cat adjusts at their own pace

Some cats start using the PetMaison Box on the first day. Others may take a few days or even up to two weeks. This is perfectly normal.

What type of litter should I use?

We recommend high-quality clumping litter — bentonite, tofu (up to 3mm grain) or mineral. Avoid non-clumping litter or grains over 10mm, as these can affect the automatic system.
